Changing Behaviors
When you get the urge, do something else, ride , clean, play with the kids or even call a smoking help line. Also you can change your routine, eat with the family instead of in the lounge room. Try some stress relief like hot showers reading a book. Do something different every day, whether it is a solitary activity or something to do with family or friends. If you have made previous attempts to quit and failed, revisit those attempts and try to find out why they did not work.
Stand A better chance ask others to help
- Ask every body you know for support while you QUIT
- Ask them not to smoke around you or leave cigarettes laying around
- Find out different support programs
- Ask your doctor for advice.
Drink lots of water to help flush the toxins out of your body. Drinking a lot of water will also help fill you up so you will not be so inclined to overeat.

Relapses Happen within the first couple of months after quitting and many people try to quit several times before they are successful at it.

- Don't drink alcohol
- Don't worry about weight gain, exercise and good eating will fix this
