helping smokers help themselves

Smoking is Not Rewarding

Smoking is Not Rewarding

Smoking is Not Rewarding One of the most amazing things is that people who smoke have one thing in common, that is after they have done some task whether it is easy or hard the will stand back and have a smoke at the same time thinking of what a good job they have done.

So all smokers who do this have programmed their brains into thinking that at the end of a job to have a smoke is to reward oneself which common sense says its not.

So now we have to look at reprogramming the brain with new ideas of reward for oneself, healthy ones using the money you save for not having to buy smokes. Most people know that when you give up you can gain weight so with your extra money you can buy yourself a membership at a gym, buy a dog which you can take for walks in which all helps with the possibility of gaining weight.

Or at the end of say a month of saving the money you would spend on smokes you could afford to say take a love one out for a romantic tea (where smoking is not allowed) or a weekend romantic holiday somewhere.

Rewarding yourself with healthier ways must be better then rewarding yourself by killing yourself with cigarettes.
There are many many ways of rewarding yourself with positive ways to help reprogram your brain with good ideas for rewards.
